Physiotherapy Fees
Bound by policies under the Trade Practices Act, the APA cannot provide a recommended schedule of physiotherapy services fees.As a patient of physiotherapy services, you can expect to pay an initial consultation fee for your first visit, and subsequent visits following the first will incur a reduced standard consultation fee. Physiotherapists who undertake post graduate education and are granted APA titled membership may elect to charge a higher fee for their services.
Patients with chronic and complex health needs may be eligible for a Medicare rebate for physiotherapy services under the Enhanced Primary Care program. Find out more about this initiative by visiting the Medicare website.
