The APA is initiating a promotion of the profession via a poster that will be sent to sporting clubs around
Australia to coincide with the Commonwealth Games in M2006.The poster design and messages are targeted at the parents of junior athletes and at senior athletes.
The posters will then be distributed through two mediums: firstly, prior to the Games, posters will be delivered, nationwide to sporting clubs who are able to maximize exposure for the profession. The second communication medium is through the use of APA members.
Posters will be available to members on request (postage costs will apply) together with guidelines for using the posters to promote physiotherapy to local referrers, sporting clubs, media and consumers.
